Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth and strengthen market presence across Tamil Nadu in the Large Home Appliances segment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing distributor and dealer networks, leading sales teams, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Growth
Develop and execute area sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
Identify new business opportunities, markets, dealers, and distributors.
Expand market share within the assigned territory.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives.
Set performance goals and monitor achievement against targets.
Provide coaching, guidance, and regular performance feedback.
Channel Development
Onboard and develop new dealers and distributors.
Strengthen relationships with existing channel partners.
Ensure effective product availability and market coverage.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Resolve escalated customer and channel partner issues.
Sales Analysis & Reporting
Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
Prepare sales forecasts, business reports, and performance reviews.
Present regular updates to senior management.
Budget & Compliance
Manage area budgets and optimize resource utilization.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
4–10 years of sales experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
