Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to drive business development and customer acquisition across Tamil Nadu. The role involves managing B2B sales activities, developing long-term customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical sales support for industrial or capital equipment products.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Identify and acquire new customers across the assigned territory.
Travel extensively within Tamil Nadu for customer visits and business development.
Generate leads and convert opportunities into sales.
Achieve sales targets and revenue objectives.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
Provide after-sales support and resolve customer concerns promptly.
Technical Sales
Present product features, technical specifications, and business benefits.
Demonstrate how products meet customer requirements regarding quality, pricing, and delivery.
Coordinate with technical experts and internal teams to support customer requirements.
Market Intelligence
Monitor competitors, pricing trends, product developments, and market conditions.
Conduct market research and collect customer feedback.
Provide recommendations for product improvements and market expansion.
Reporting & Coordination
Submit daily visit reports and sales updates.
Coordinate with sales back-office and management teams.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and promotional activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
B.E. in Electrical Engineering preferred.
Sales certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of sales experience.
Experience in B2B sales is mandatory.
Experience in Textile Machinery, Capital Equipment, Industrial Machinery, Electrical Equipment, or Engineering Products preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication.
Customer service and relationship management.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office.
