Job Description – DevOps Trainer (Part-Time / Weekends)

Thane West, Maharashtra (2-minute walk from Thane West Railway Station, Platform No. 1)

Position Type

Part-Time (Weekends – Saturday & Sunday)

Experience Required

5 – 6 Years (DevOps Engineer / Trainer / Mentor experience preferred)

Remuneration

Note: Only candidates from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Kalyan, and Dombivali regions will be considered.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate DevOps professional who is eager to share practical industry knowledge and mentor aspiring IT professionals. This role is ideal for working professionals who want to take weekend training sessions and contribute to shaping future DevOps engineers through hands-on learning and real-world scenarios.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver interactive and practical DevOps training sessions on weekends
Design and update curriculum aligned with current industry trends
Conduct hands-on labs, assignments, and real-world case studies
Guide learners in project work and job-oriented skill development
Create engaging learning environments and support doubt-solving sessions
Develop and maintain training materials such as presentations, lab guides, and exercises
Evaluate student performance through tests, quizzes, and assignments
Continuously update course content based on evolving DevOps technologies
Qualifications (Grouped by Domain & Intended Purpose)
1. CI/CD & Automation
Jenkins
GitLab CI (or similar tools)

Purpose: Automating build, test, and deployment pipelines for continuous delivery.

2. Version Control Systems
Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)

Purpose: Source code management, collaboration, and version tracking.

3. Configuration Management
Ansible
Chef
Puppet

Purpose: Automating configuration setup and infrastructure consistency.

4. Containerization & Orchestration
Docker (mandatory)
Kubernetes (mandatory)

Purpose: Application containerization and orchestration of scalable workloads.

5. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Terraform
CloudFormation

Purpose: Automating infrastructure provisioning and management.

6. Cloud Platforms
AWS
Azure
GCP (at least one required)

Purpose: Cloud infrastructure deployment, management, and scaling.

7. Scripting & Automation
Shell Scripting (Bash)
Python or Groovy

Purpose: Automation of DevOps tasks, scripting pipelines, and system operations.

8. Monitoring & Logging
Prometheus
Grafana
ELK Stack

Purpose: System monitoring, performance tracking, and log analysis.

Required Skills & Attributes
Strong hands-on DevOps experience (5–6 years)
Prior training or mentoring experience preferred
Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts
Strong presentation and classroom delivery skills
Passion for teaching and student development
Updated knowledge of DevOps tools and trends
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
