Job Summary

We are looking for experienced and dedicated VMC Operators to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines while ensuring production quality, efficiency, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Set up, calibrate, and operate Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines for manufacturing operations
Load raw materials, prepare tools, and verify machine setup before production runs
Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and CNC programs to perform machining tasks accurately
Monitor machining operations and inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments
Compare finished products against technical specifications and quality standards
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine preventive maintenance
Maintain accurate production records, inspection reports, and related documentation
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Coordinate with engineering and quality teams to resolve machining or quality-related issues
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience operating VMC or similar CNC machinery
Strong technical knowledge of machine setup, calibration, and CNC operations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Basic troubleshooting and routine machine maintenance skills
Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach
Good teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
High school diploma or equivalent qualification
Technical certification is preferred
