Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Structural Draftsman with extensive expertise in AutoCAD to prepare accurate structural drawings for civil and structural engineering projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with structural engineers to develop detailed RCC and steel structural drawings while ensuring compliance with applicable standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed structural drawings and plans using AutoCAD based on engineering calculations and design specifications.
Develop and revise drawings for RCC and structural steel components, including:
Beams
Columns
Foundations
Slabs
Reinforcement detailing
Steel connections
Interpret structural drawings, design documents, and technical specifications accurately.
Coordinate with structural engineers and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and timely project delivery.
Modify drawings based on design revisions and site feedback.
Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, codes, and client specifications.
Maintain organized drawing records, revisions, and project documentation.
Assist in resolving drafting and technical issues during project execution.
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality across all project deliverables.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 25 years of experience in structural drafting.
Strong expertise in AutoCAD.
Experience in drafting RCC and structural steel projects.
Good understanding of structural detailing practices and engineering standards.
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and technical documents.
Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
Expertise in AutoCAD drafting for civil and structural projects.
Knowledge of RCC detailing and steel structure detailing.
High attention to detail and drafting accuracy.
Strong documentation and drawing management skills.
Ability to manage multiple drawing revisions within project timelines.
Experience with additional drafting software is an advantage.
