Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, ETL/ELT frameworks, and cloud ecosystems.

You will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performance data solutions that support analytics and reporting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in Snowflake using Python, R, or SQL scripting.
Develop and maintain efficient data models, schemas, and warehouse structures.
Integrate Snowflake with cloud and on-premise data sources through APIs and connectors.
Optimize query performance, warehouse compute usage, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with Data Science, BI, and Analytics teams to provide trusted datasets.
Implement data governance, data quality, security, and compliance standards.
Build and support CI/CD pipelines for data workflows using GitHub.
Troubleshoot complex data engineering issues and improve pipeline reliability.
Ensure scalable and secure data architecture across enterprise systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
Computer Science
Data Engineering
Information Systems
Related technical field
5–7 years of experience in Data Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
Strong expertise in:
SQL
Data Modeling
Performance Tuning
Strong understanding of:
3NF
Star Schema
Data Vault Modeling
Proficiency in:
Python
R
SQL scripting
Experience with ETL/ELT orchestration tools such as:
Airflow
dbt
Equivalent frameworks
Familiarity with cloud platforms:
AWS
Azure
GCP
Understanding of:
RBAC
Data Governance
Encryption & Security in Snowflake
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
