Job Summary
CAPS is seeking a skilled Network Engineer / System Administrator to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networking infrastructure and computing environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with switching, routing, firewalls, surveillance systems, and network security while providing technical support for customer and partner networking projects.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments.
Manage systems software, application software, hardware, and network configurations.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
Configure, maintain, and monitor antivirus software and email applications.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and performance issues.
Design, configure, and test networking software, computer software, and operating systems.
Support partners and customers in networking implementation and maintenance projects.
Prepare accurate network diagrams and technical documentation.
Plan, implement, and maintain secure network communication systems.
Monitor network performance and recommend improvements.
Ensure network security and compliance with organizational standards.
Required Skills
Hands-on experience in:
Switching
Routing
Firewall administration
Antivirus management
Surveillance systems
Experience managing:
PoE Switches
Managed Switches
Wireless Access Points (APs)
Wireless Controllers
IP Cameras
Strong knowledge of network security concepts.
Ability to prepare network topology diagrams and documentation.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and customer support skills.
Must own a two-wheeler for field visits.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Minimum 2 years of relevant networking experience.
Diploma or Degree specializing in Networking or Computer Science.
Ability to work independently and handle customer-facing networking projects.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
