Senior Electrical & Electronics Engineer – PCB Design
Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
Industry: Industrial AI / High-Reliability Products
Experience: 10+ years
Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering or related field
Key Responsibilities:
Design, simulate, and prototype analog and digital circuits for industrial applications.
Develop hardware schematics and BOMs using EDA tools.
Collaborate with firmware and mechanical engineering teams on integrated hardware solutions.
Test, debug, and validate hardware against international reliability and robustness standards.
Review PCB layouts for thermal management and EMI/EMC compliance.
Perform worst-case analysis to ensure hardware reliability across operating conditions.
Work with functional safety teams on FMEDA activities.
Conduct hardware functional testing and troubleshoot EMI/EMC, thermal, and electrical test issues.
Evaluate new electronic components and optimize designs for cost and performance.
Technical Requirements:
10+ years of hands-on hardware design experience.
Strong expertise in analog and digital electronics.
Experience with DC/DC converters, Op-Amps, and critical analog circuits.
Strong understanding of EMI/EMC and its impact on hardware design.
Proven experience in worst-case analysis and hardware reliability.
Proficiency in Altium Designer, OrCAD, or equivalent EDA tools.
Hands-on PCB design, testing equipment, and hardware debugging experience.
Knowledge of functional safety standards is preferred.
