Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Odoo Developer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Odoo ERP development, customization, and implementation.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Python, Odoo 15 and newer versions, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ERP business processes.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and customizing Odoo modules, implementing new features, troubleshooting existing applications, and optimizing ERP solutions to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Odoo ERP Development and Customization

Design, develop, and customize Odoo ERP modules based on business requirements.

Work with Odoo 15 and newer versions, including Odoo 18.

Develop custom features and enhance existing Odoo modules.

Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and reusable Python code.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing Odoo applications.

Ensure ERP solutions align with organizational requirements.

2. Python and Web Development

Develop backend functionality using Python and relevant libraries.

Work with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for Odoo web interface customization.

Implement front-end enhancements and user-friendly interfaces.

Collaborate with developers to integrate new features into ERP applications.

Maintain application performance and code quality.

3. Database Management and Data Migration

Work with PostgreSQL databases for Odoo application development.

Perform database queries, updates, and optimization.

Support data migration between Odoo versions and ERP systems.

Maintain data accuracy and integrity during migration activities.

4. Odoo Installation and Server Administration

Install, configure, and maintain Odoo applications.

Work with Odoo.sh for application hosting and deployment.

Support Linux server administration and troubleshooting.

Manage Odoo environments hosted on AWS or similar platforms.

Use Git for version control and collaborative development.

5. Odoo Automation and Business Process Integration

Work with Odoo 18 JSON action changes and automation features.

Develop and customize workflows for business process automation.

Implement ERP functionality related to accounting, inventory, and sales.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements.

Ensure seamless integration of customized modules with existing Odoo applications.

6. Agile Development and Team Collaboration

Follow Agile software development methodologies.

Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders.

Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Identify opportunities to improve development processes.

Complete assigned tasks within project timelines.

Candidate Requirements

3–4 years of relevant experience in Odoo ERP development and customization.

Strong hands-on experience with Odoo 15 and newer versions.

Proficiency in Python programming and related frameworks.

Good understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Experience working with PostgreSQL databases.

Knowledge of Linux server administration and Git.

Familiarity with Odoo installation, configuration, and deployment.

Understanding of Odoo data migration methods.

Awareness of JSON action changes and automation features in Odoo 18.

Good understanding of ERP business processes, including accounting, inventory, and sales.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to code quality.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with Odoo.sh deployment and management.

Knowledge of AWS-based server administration.

Front-end development experience using React, Vue.js, or Angular.

Familiarity with ERPNext or other ERP systems.

Experience with ERP integrations and workflow automation.
