Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nursing Superintendent / Nursing Manager to lead and manage overall nursing operations, ensuring high standards of patient care, staff performance, and hospital compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Nursing Administration
Oversee daily nursing operations across wards and departments
Maintain optimal nurse–patient ratios
Develop and implement nursing policies, protocols, and SOPs
2. Staff Management
Supervise Nursing Supervisors, Staff Nurses, and Assistants
Manage duty rosters, shifts, and leave schedules
Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs
3. Patient Care & Quality
Ensure high standards of patient safety and infection control
Address patient/family concerns related to nursing services
Ensure compliance with NABH/NABL standards
4. Training & Development
Organize induction and ongoing training programs
Promote continuous learning and professional development
5. Coordination & Reporting
Collaborate with doctors, department heads, and administration
Prepare and present nursing reports to management
6. Discipline & Professional Conduct
Enforce discipline, punctuality, and ethical practices
Take corrective action for misconduct or negligence
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
In-depth knowledge of hospital protocols and standards
Strong decision-making and crisis management skills
Eligibility & Qualifications
B.Sc Nursing (BSN) / M.Sc Nursing (MSN)
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 8 years of experience, including 3+ years in leadership role
Experience in hospital/healthcare settings
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Salary & Benefits
💰 ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month
