Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled MIG Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in MIG welding and be capable of handling heavy fabrication work. Candidates with basic fitter knowledge will have an added advantage. The role requires precision, attention to quality, and adherence to safety standards while working on fabrication projects.
Educational Qualification
ITI Welder / Fitter (Preferred)
10th / 12th Pass with relevant welding experience
Any technical qualification related to fabrication is an advantage
Experience
Minimum 1 Year of Experience as a MIG Welder
Experience in heavy fabrication work preferred
Key Responsibilities
Welding & Fabrication
Perform MIG welding on heavy fabrication structures and components.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding specifications.
Ensure strong, accurate, and high-quality welds.
Carry out grinding, finishing, and fit-up activities as required.
Fitting & Assembly Support
Assist in fitting and alignment of fabricated components.
Support assembly activities during production and fabrication processes.
Work closely with fitters and fabrication teams to complete projects efficiently.
Quality Control
Inspect welded joints and fabricated parts for defects and dimensional accuracy.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards and project specifications.
Minimize rework through attention to detail and workmanship.
Equipment Maintenance
Operate welding machines and fabrication tools safely.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment.
Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance requirements promptly.
Safety Compliance
Follow workplace safety procedures and welding safety standards.
Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
