Job Summary

Dr. Aravind’s IVF Fertility & Pregnancy Centre is looking for a motivated and dedicated Pharmacist to join its healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, maintaining pharmacy operations, managing inventory, reviewing prescriptions, and ensuring safe pharmaceutical practices while supporting patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Medication Dispensing & Prescription Review
Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians.
Review patient medical histories and prescriptions to identify potential drug interactions.
Verify prescription orders and ensure medication accuracy.
Provide safe and effective pharmaceutical services to patients.
Patient Counseling
Educate patients on proper medication usage, dosage schedules, and precautions.
Explain potential side effects and medication storage requirements.
Address patient medication-related queries professionally.
Pharmacy Operations
Complete daily pharmacy operational requirements efficiently.
Maintain records of controlled substances and pharmacy transactions.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and organizational policies.
Inventory Management
Monitor pharmacy inventory levels and stock availability.
Remove expired, damaged, or unusable medications from inventory.
Ensure proper medication storage and stock rotation practices.
Quality & Safety
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized pharmacy environment.
Adhere to patient safety, quality assurance, and infection-control guidelines.
Support continuous improvement of pharmacy services.
Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
Perform administrative and reporting tasks as assigned.
Assist in pharmacy audits and compliance activities.
