Hardware Lead Engineer – Automotive Inverters
Industry: Automotive / Electric Vehicles (EV/HEV)
Role: Hardware Lead Engineer
Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field
Key Responsibilities:
Develop hardware architectures for automotive inverter systems.
Interpret system specifications and translate them into hardware requirements.
Design and develop high-frequency inverter circuits.
Select and evaluate active electronic components.
Work with automotive microcontrollers and power electronics.
Ensure EMI/EMC compliance and address hardware-related interference issues.
Review and optimize PCB layouts for performance and safety.
Ensure compliance with relevant electrical safety requirements, including IEC 60664.
Collaborate with software, mechanical, and system engineering teams to achieve system-level requirements.
Technical Requirements:
Proven experience in automotive inverter hardware development.
Strong circuit design and hardware architecture skills.
Experience with PCB design tools and PCB layout.
Knowledge of EMI/EMC standards and compliance.
Experience with SiC/GaN power semiconductors.
Experience with automotive-grade microcontrollers.
Knowledge of power electronics and high-frequency inverter design.
Understanding of PCB safety and insulation requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
EV/HEV automotive inverter development experience.
Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety.
Experience developing automotive-grade hardware.
Strong understanding of system-level hardware integration.
