Job Title: Lathe / Gear Lathe Machine Operator

Location: Sulur Pirivu, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent
Experience: 3–10 Years
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Lathe / Gear Lathe Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in operating conventional lathe and gear lathe machines, interpreting engineering drawings, and producing precision components while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate Lathe and Gear Lathe machines.
Perform machining operations such as:
Turning
Boring
Threading
Facing
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical blueprints.
Measure and inspect machined components to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers and Micrometers.
Perform preventive machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
Maintain production quality, workplace safety, and housekeeping standards.
Required Qualifications
ITI
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)
Any relevant technical certification course
Experience: 3–10 years in lathe or gear lathe machine operations.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of lathe machining operations.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Experience using precision measuring instruments.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance and machine troubleshooting.
Good attention to detail and quality awareness.
