Field Engineer – Broadband & Fiber Network Support

Job Overview

INFONET Comm Enterprises is hiring Field Engineers to support broadband and fiber network installations and customer service operations. The ideal candidate should possess basic networking knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in field environments.

Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

Roles & Responsibilities
Install fiber broadband connections, routers, ONU/ONT devices at customer locations.
Configure WiFi routers and ensure proper signal strength and connectivity.
Attend customer complaints related to:
Low internet speed
No connectivity
Device and router issues
Perform:
Fiber splicing
Jointing
Last-mile network rectification
Coordinate with the NOC (Network Operations Center) for backend issues and service outages.
Provide technical support and clear communication to customers.
Follow company safety standards and installation quality procedures.
Required Skills
Basic networking knowledge:
LAN
WAN
WiFi
Knowledge of fiber optics is an added advantage.
Strong troubleshooting and customer handling skills.
Ability to work independently in field operations.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:
ITI
Diploma
Any Degree
Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
Mandatory requirements:
Two-wheeler
Valid driving license
Willingness to travel for field visits.
