Job Description

Adithya Global School is seeking a dedicated and qualified TGT English Teacher to teach English and support students’ academic and literary development.

Key Responsibilities

Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.

Deliver engaging classroom instruction using interactive teaching methods.

Assess students through assignments, projects, examinations, and other methods.

Provide personalized support to students facing learning challenges.

Foster reading habits and appreciation for literature.

Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress to parents/guardians.

Collaborate with colleagues, subject heads, and administrative staff.

Encourage participation in debates, elocution, writing competitions, and literary clubs.

Attend staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English (B.A. / M.A. English)

B.Ed is mandatory

Experience

Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience at the secondary/higher secondary level preferred.

Freshers with a strong academic background and effective communication skills can also apply.

Female candidates preferred.

Required Skills

Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Strong knowledge of grammar, composition, and English literature.

Good classroom management and student engagement skills.
