Job Summary

L.G. Balakrishnan & Bros. Limited is seeking motivated Electrical Technician Trainees to join its plant maintenance team. This opportunity is ideal for fresh Diploma and ITI graduates who are eager to build a career in industrial electrical maintenance. Selected candidates will receive on-the-job training while assisting senior technicians in maintaining electrical systems and ensuring smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
Assist senior technicians with daily electrical maintenance activities.
Conduct routine inspections of motors, electrical panels, lighting systems, and plant electrical installations.
Monitor equipment condition and record electrical parameters and energy usage.
Support preventive maintenance (PM) activities according to maintenance schedules.
Attend equipment breakdowns under supervision and assist in troubleshooting and repairs.
Maintain electrical maintenance records and documentation.
Ensure proper upkeep of tools, testing instruments, and electrical maintenance areas.
Follow electrical safety procedures and company safety standards at all times.
Identify and report equipment abnormalities or potential safety hazards to the maintenance supervisor.
Participate in continuous learning and skill development programs.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:
Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (DEEE)
ITI – Electrician or equivalent
Experience:
Freshers to 3 years of experience.
Industrial internship or apprenticeship experience is an added advantage.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.
Understanding of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of electrical safety practices.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Discipline and responsibility in workplace activities.
Salary
₹16,000 – ₹25,000 per month
