Job Summary

Cognisive is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to manage cloud infrastructure, automate deployment processes, and streamline software delivery pipelines. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in DevOps, CI/CD, Configuration Management, Linux Administration, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on building scalable deployment pipelines, automating infrastructure, and improving software release efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
DevOps Engineering
Design, implement, and maintain DevOps processes.
Automate software delivery pipelines.
Improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
Support development and operations teams.
Configuration Management
Manage infrastructure configuration.
Maintain version-controlled environments.
Ensure consistency across development, testing, and production.
Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Automate application build, testing, and deployment.
Improve release quality through automation.
Release Management
Plan and coordinate application releases.
Manage deployment schedules.
Support production rollouts and rollback strategies.
Ensure smooth software delivery.
Cloud Implementation
Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure.
Work with cloud services on:
Microsoft Azure
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Optimize cloud resources for performance and scalability.
Linux Administration
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
Monitor server health and performance.
Troubleshoot operating system issues.
Perform routine system maintenance.
Automation
Develop automation scripts.
Automate operational tasks.
Improve deployment workflows.
Reduce manual intervention through scripting.
Code Deployment
Manage application deployments.
Apply software updates and fixes.
Support release automation.
Maintain deployment reliability.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
Strong background in Linux Administration.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms.
Experience implementing enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
