Job Summary

Prognova Solutions is hiring a Data Engineer to support its expanding UK-based digital agency operations in India. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in C#, SQL, ETL/ELT pipeline development, and Azure-based data engineering solutions.

The role involves designing scalable data architectures, building modern data pipelines, integrating multiple data sources, and enabling business intelligence and analytics solutions for next-generation property technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Data Pipeline Development
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
Process and transform large-scale property datasets
Build data workflows using:
Azure Data Factory
Databricks
C# orchestration systems
Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues
Optimize scalability, reliability, and efficiency of data workflows
Data Architecture & Engineering
Develop and manage:
Data Lakes
Data Warehouses
Work with:
Azure Synapse Analytics
SQL-based systems
Implement secure and optimized data models
Integrate multiple data sources using:
APIs
Dataverse
ODBC
Other connectors
Collaboration & Development
Write clean, maintainable C# code
Participate in code reviews and collaborative development
Work closely with UK-based Data Analysts and BI teams
Prepare datasets for Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
Contribute to Git repositories and CI/CD workflows
Performance & Optimization
Monitor data flow and storage performance
Track system efficiency and optimization opportunities
Recommend improvements to architecture and workflows
Support documentation and stakeholder guidance
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience in:
C#
SQL
ETL/ELT Development
Experience with:
Azure Data Factory
Databricks
Azure Synapse Analytics
Power BI
Strong SQL query writing and performance tuning expertise
Familiarity with:
