Medical Billing / Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

🕒 Shift: Night Shift / Mid Shift

Position: Charge Entry Specialist

We are looking for experienced Charge Entry Specialists with strong knowledge of US Healthcare Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle Management processes.

The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail, strong billing knowledge, and the ability to work independently during night shift operations.

Experience Required

✅ Minimum 1–3+ years of experience in Medical Billing Charge Entry (Mandatory)

Key Responsibilities
Enter and review patient charges accurately in the billing system
Validate:
CPT Codes
ICD-10 Codes
HCPCS Codes
Modifier combinations
Ensure compliance with payer guidelines and client-specific billing rules
Reconcile daily charge logs and identify missing/incomplete documentation
Coordinate with coding, denial management, and payment posting teams
Meet productivity and quality benchmarks
Process backlog tasks and ensure timely charge completion
Identify recurring billing issues and escalate when required
Maintain HIPAA compliance and data confidentiality standards
Required Qualifications & Skills

✅ Strong knowledge of:

CPT
ICD-10
HCPCS
Medical Modifiers

✅ Familiarity with US Healthcare RCM processes

✅ Experience in billing platforms such as:

Athena
Kareo
AdvancedMD
eClinicalWorks
Epic
Or similar systems

✅ Excellent data entry speed and accuracy

✅ Ability to work independently during night shifts

✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

✅ Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in multispecialty billing:
Family Medicine
Internal Medicine
Orthopedics
Surgery
Etc.
Knowledge of:
Medicare
Medicaid
Commercial payer billing guidelines
Exposure to coding audits and quality checks
