Medical Billing / Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

📍 Location: Tidel Park, Coimbatore
🕒 Shift: Night Shift / Mid Shift

Position: Charge Entry Specialist

We are looking for experienced Charge Entry Specialists with strong expertise in US Healthcare Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent attention to detail, billing accuracy, and the ability to work independently during night shift operations.

Experience Required

✅ Minimum 1–3+ years of experience in Medical Billing Charge Entry (Mandatory)

Key Responsibilities
Enter and review patient charges accurately in the billing system
Validate:
CPT Codes
ICD-10 Codes
HCPCS Codes
Modifier combinations
Ensure compliance with payer guidelines and client-specific billing requirements
Reconcile daily charge logs and identify incomplete or missing documentation
Coordinate with coding, denial management, and payment posting teams to resolve discrepancies
Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks as defined by the organization
Process backlog tasks and ensure timely end-of-day charge completion
Escalate recurring issues to team leads or supervisors when necessary
Maintain HIPAA compliance and data confidentiality standards
Required Qualifications & Skills

✅ Strong knowledge of:

CPT
ICD-10
HCPCS
Medical Modifiers

✅ Familiarity with:

US Healthcare RCM processes
Medical billing workflows and standards

✅ Experience in billing platforms such as:

Athena
Kareo
AdvancedMD
eClinicalWorks
Epic
Or similar applications

✅ Excellent data entry speed and accuracy

✅ Ability to work independently during night shifts

✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

✅ Good communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in multispecialty billing:
Family Medicine
Internal Medicine
Orthopedics
Surgery
Etc.
Knowledge of:
Medicare
Medicaid
Commercial insurance billing requirements
Exposure to coding audits and quality checks
Work Schedule
