Role Overview

The Audit Officer will oversee stock audits, payment verification, financial transaction checks, and operational compliance across the company’s retail outlets. The role involves extensive travel across Tamil Nadu.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular stock and payment audits across multiple stores.
Verify inventory records and identify shortages, excesses, and mismatches.
Audit cash collections, payment records, and sales transactions.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies and disputes.
Monitor compliance with company policies, financial controls, and operational procedures.
Train shop staff on proper stock handling and record keeping.
Prepare audit reports with findings and corrective recommendations.
Help management improve systems to reduce losses and strengthen accountability.
Eligibility & Skills
Graduate in Commerce / Business / Accounts preferred.
Freshers are eligible.
Knowledge of stock verification, cash handling, and audit procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Tamil speaking is mandatory; English is an advantage.
Willingness to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu.
High integrity and fairness in handling audits.

Best suited for: B.Com/BBA or related graduates who are comfortable with field travel, stock verification, cash auditing, and retail operations.
