Job Description

Vokx Inclusive, a multidisciplinary rehabilitation unit for individuals with diverse needs, is looking for an Educational Teaching Assistant to provide one-on-one academic and behavioural support to clients. The role involves working closely with educators and therapists to support learning, therapy sessions, and daily centre activities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one academic and behavioural support during therapy and learning sessions.

Assist educators and therapists with customized learning and therapy activities.

Prepare, organize, and maintain educational and therapy materials.

Adapt lesson materials and instructions based on guidance from educators/therapists.

Document basic observations and client progress for review.

Encourage social, behavioural, and learning development.

Support smooth transitions between activities and group programs.

Participate in community and outreach initiatives promoting inclusive education and awareness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in:

Education

Special Education

Psychology

Early Childhood Care & Education

Related fields

Background or experience in shadow teaching or classroom assistance preferred.

Strong communication skills, patience, and adaptability.

Willingness to learn therapy techniques and inclusive teaching methods.
