EHS & Maintenance Engineer – SKF Automotive

Work Environment: Manufacturing Plant, Test Centre & Technical Centre
Key Responsibilities

EHS

Develop and implement EHS policies and programs.
Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and applicable regulations.
Manage EHS permits, licenses, audits, inspections and risk assessments.
Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses; implement corrective actions.
Conduct safety training covering LOTO, confined spaces, fire safety and emergency response.
Manage hazardous/non-hazardous waste and environmental compliance.
Lead emergency preparedness, fire drills and evacuation procedures.

Maintenance

Plan and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Maintain CNC machines, grinding machines, heat-treatment furnaces, assembly lines and testing equipment.
Use CMMS for maintenance scheduling and records.
Handle breakdown troubleshooting and minimize equipment downtime.
Perform root-cause analysis for recurring failures.
Manage critical spare parts and maintenance inventory.
Support equipment installation, commissioning and optimization.
Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing and compressed-air utilities.
Coordinate external maintenance contractors.
Required Skills
Strong EHS knowledge and manufacturing safety practices.
Experience with CNC, grinding, heat treatment and assembly processes.
Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting.
Preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance.
CMMS experience.
Risk assessment and incident investigation.
Strong leadership, communication and training skills.
Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge is an advantage.
