The Design team supports customers by developing innovative tooling solutions based on their specific machining and application requirements.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Design Engineer to support the design and development of customized tooling solutions based on customer requirements.

The ideal candidate should have a mechanical engineering background with 1–3 years of experience in the machine tool, cutting tool or manufacturing industry, along with knowledge of Creo/Pro-E, AutoCAD, GD&T and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of precision tooling solutions based on customer requirements.
Create and modify 3D CAD models using Creo/Pro-E.
Develop part, assembly and detailed manufacturing drawings.
Prepare and review technical drawings according to design requirements.
Apply basic Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
Interpret engineering drawings and understand drawing patterns and specifications.
Support design engineers in developing customer-specific cutting tool solutions.
Apply knowledge of current cutting tool technologies to design activities.
Maintain accurate design and engineering documentation.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure design requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
Support design modifications and revisions based on customer or manufacturing requirements.
Ensure drawings and documentation meet required quality and engineering standards.
Required Qualifications
B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a Mechanical Engineering allied qualification.
1–3 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in:
Machine Tool Industry
Cutting Tool Industry
Manufacturing Industry
Basic proficiency in Creo / Pro-E, including:
Part Modeling
Assembly
Detailing
Knowledge of AutoCAD.
Working knowledge of MS Office and email communication.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of Creo / Pro-E and 3D CAD software.
Understanding of GD&T.
Basic knowledge of cutting tool technology.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Understanding of drawing patterns and manufacturing requirements.
Technical documentation skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Key Result Area
Assist in developing customer-specific tooling solutions.
Support accurate and timely completion of design deliverables.
Ensure designs meet customer requirements and manufacturing feasibility.
Maintain high standards of technical documentation and drawing accuracy.
Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in precision machining, cutting tools, tooling design or machine tool applications will be preferred.
