Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Designer – SolidWorks to develop and design products and systems based on customer requirements, technical specifications and applicable industry standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in SolidWorks and CAD software, along with a good understanding of materials, manufacturing processes and mechanical engineering principles. The role involves close collaboration with manufacturing, quality and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and design products and mechanical systems based on customer requirements.
Use SolidWorks and other CAD software to create detailed designs and engineering drawings.
Apply knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and mechanical principles to design activities.
Generate innovative design concepts and improvement ideas.
Conduct research and testing to assess the feasibility and viability of design concepts.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality control and other departments throughout the design process.
Communicate technical concepts and design requirements effectively to cross-functional teams.
Review designs prepared by other engineers and provide constructive technical feedback.
Manage assigned projects, deadlines and design deliverables effectively.
Maintain accurate specifications, drawings and technical manuals.
Troubleshoot design-related issues and implement appropriate design modifications.
Ensure designs meet customer requirements, quality expectations and relevant industry standards.
Support continuous improvement and product development initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks.
Knowledge of other CAD software is an advantage.
Good understanding of:
Materials

Mechanical engineering principles
Product design and development
Strong technical communication skills.
Experience or understanding of project management.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
