Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Chemical Engineer to support manufacturing operations by managing chemical processes, water treatment systems, environmental compliance, and surface treatment operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, environmental management systems, and regulatory compliance while working effectively in a cross-functional team.
Key Responsibilities
Environmental & Quality Management
Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
Plan and conduct internal environmental audits.
Ensure compliance with statutory environmental regulations applicable to manufacturing industries.
Maintain environmental documentation and audit records.
Water & Wastewater Treatment
Operate and monitor:
Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant
Demineralization (DM) Plant
Water Softeners
Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP)
Monitor treatment efficiency and optimize plant performance.
Ensure compliance with environmental discharge standards.
Chemical Process Management
Monitor and control chemical process parameters.
Analyze chemical concentrations, impurities, and process quality.
Maintain chemical inventory and process documentation.
Recommend improvements for process efficiency and product quality.
Surface Treatment & Plating Operations
Supervise and monitor:
Pretreatment (PT) Process
Hard Chrome Plating
Surface Treatment Operations
Ensure plating quality and adherence to process specifications.
Investigate and resolve process-related issues.
Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement
Diagnose and resolve operational issues in:
Plating Line
PT Line
ETP
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Collaboration & Reporting
Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, and environmental teams.
Prepare technical reports, compliance records, and process documentation.
Participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry or M.Sc. in Chemistry (Regular).
Experience
3–6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
