Job Summary

Dr. Aravind’s IVF Fertility & Pregnancy Centre is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations and ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications. The ideal candidate should possess sound pharmaceutical knowledge, maintain regulatory compliance, and provide excellent patient support within a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
Verify prescription orders and ensure accurate dispensing of medications.
Review patient medical histories and prescriptions to identify potential drug interactions, allergies, or contraindications.
Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians.
Counsel patients on proper medication usage, dosage, storage, precautions, and possible side effects.
Maintain pharmacy inventory, including stock monitoring, replenishment, and proper medication storage.
Remove expired, damaged, or recalled medications from inventory according to regulatory guidelines.
Maintain records of controlled substances and pharmacy transactions.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, hospital policies, and safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
Perform pharmacy-related administrative tasks and documentation as required.
Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
Required Qualifications
B.Pharm or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm).
Valid State Pharmacy Council registration is preferred.
Experience
0–1 year of pharmacy experience.
