Job Summary

Adagen NextGen LLP is looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python backend development, REST APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and database technologies. Experience with Node.js, NestJS, and React.js will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
Build secure, reliable, and high-performance web services.
Develop reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Optimize application performance and scalability.
Python Development
Develop backend services using:
Flask
FastAPI
Build APIs and backend components following industry best practices.
Maintain and enhance existing Python applications.
API & Microservices
Design and develop RESTful APIs.
Build and maintain microservices-based architectures.
Integrate backend services with frontend applications and third-party systems.
Ensure API security, reliability, and performance.
Database Development
Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases.
Work with:

Optimize database queries and overall performance.
Ensure data integrity and efficient storage solutions.
Cloud Development
Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms.
Work with:

Microsoft Azure
Develop cloud-native and scalable solutions.
Software Engineering
Follow clean coding principles and software development best practices.
Participate in architecture discussions and technical design.
Write unit tests and support application testing.
Debug and resolve production issues.
Version Control & Agile
Manage source code using Git.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Compensation
