Job Summary

Airbus India is looking for a Software Development Intern to support the design, development, testing, integration, and deployment of software solutions. The intern will work closely with engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle, contributing to product development, system integration, testing, and continuous improvement while adhering to established engineering standards and architectural guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
Software Development
Develop and maintain software components based on product requirements.
Assemble and modify source code repositories to build software solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards.
Adhere to the organization’s software architecture and development guidelines.
Software Design
Develop design specifications in accordance with architectural blueprints.
Participate in technical design discussions and solution planning.
Ensure software components are scalable, maintainable, and reliable.
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including:
Requirements Analysis
Design
Development
Testing
Integration
Deployment
Operations and Maintenance
Testing & Quality Assurance
Define test strategies and testing approaches.
Develop test scripts and test scenarios.
Execute, monitor, and validate software testing activities.
Assist in identifying, tracking, and resolving software defects.
System Integration
Coordinate functional and technical integration activities.
Integrate software components, services, and systems.
Ensure compatibility with existing applications, databases, and enterprise platforms.
Deployment & Operations
Deploy software solutions in development and testing environments.
Support highly available, scalable, and monitored systems.
Assist in troubleshooting deployment and operational issues.
Research & Innovation
Research emerging technologies and development tools.
Evaluate new frameworks and technologies to improve development efficiency.
Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
Documentation
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Assist in creating product user manuals and supporting documents.
Document design decisions, testing procedures, and deployment processes.
