Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Head of Accounts & Finance to lead the organization’s finance and accounting functions. The successful candidate will oversee financial operations, budgeting, reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, ERP systems, internal controls, and strategic financial planning. This leadership role requires extensive experience managing the finance function of a ₹1,000+ crore turnover company, preferably in the manufacturing or edible oil industry.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting Leadership
Lead and manage the Accounts and Finance department.
Supervise daily accounting operations and financial reporting.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Develop and strengthen financial processes and controls.
Financial Planning & Budgeting
Lead annual budgeting and financial forecasting.
Monitor budget utilization and financial performance.
Analyze business results and recommend improvement strategies.
Support long-term financial planning initiatives.
Financial Reporting
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Present financial reports and business insights to senior management.
Ensure timely and accurate management reporting (MIS).
Taxation & Compliance
Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Oversee direct and indirect tax matters.
Develop tax planning strategies to optimize tax efficiency.
Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and regulatory reports.
Strategic Financial Management
Provide financial guidance to executive leadership.
Support business expansion and investment decisions.
Analyze financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Drive profitability and operational efficiency initiatives.
ERP & Internal Controls
Ensure effective utilization of ERP systems.
Strengthen internal financial controls and governance.
Improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies.
Monitor compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
