Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer (PHP) – Lead to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications while leading development projects and mentoring team members. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in PHP frameworks, backend architecture, Linux environments, and version control, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using PHP.
Build secure, efficient, and high-performance web solutions.
Develop reusable and maintainable application components.
Optimize application performance and scalability.
Framework Development
Develop applications using PHP frameworks such as:
Laravel
Symfony
CodeIgniter
Follow MVC architecture and object-oriented programming principles.
Implement coding standards and software development best practices.
Project Leadership
Lead backend development projects from planning through deployment.
Mentor and guide junior developers.
Conduct code reviews and ensure high code quality.
Coordinate development activities within the team.
Database & Integration
Design and integrate backend services and APIs.
Work closely with frontend developers to integrate application components.
Ensure secure and efficient backend integrations.
System Administration
Work within Linux server environments.
Use SSH for server management and deployment activities.
Manage source code using Git version control.
Collaboration
Work closely with designers, frontend developers, QA teams, and stakeholders.
Participate in technical discussions and project planning.
Communicate project status and technical solutions effectively.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Experience
Minimum 4 years of professional PHP development experience.
Experience leading software development projects and mentoring teams.
