Job Summary

GSH is seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems and automated machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CNC, VMC, HMC, PLC, and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), ensuring maximum equipment uptime, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC, HMC, PLC, and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs).
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in industrial automation equipment.
Maintain and service HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, motors, and generators.
Ensure smooth operation of production equipment with minimal downtime.
Monitor machine performance and implement corrective maintenance actions.
Attend electrical breakdowns during shift operations.
Maintain maintenance logs, reports, and equipment history.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for planned shutdowns and repairs.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and efficiency.
Educational Qualification
B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), or
Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DEEE), or
ITI (Electrical)
Experience
7–15 years of relevant experience in industrial electrical maintenance and automation.
Required Skills
Maintenance of CNC, VMC, HMC, PLC, and Special Purpose Machines.
Troubleshooting industrial electrical systems.
Knowledge of HT/LT distribution systems.
Experience with transformers, motors, and generators.
Preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Electrical fault diagnosis and repair.
Industrial safety practices.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in rotational shifts.
