Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Engineer to oversee daily production activities in a heavy fabrication manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in fabrication processes, manpower handling, production planning, and interpreting engineering drawings. The role involves ensuring smooth production operations while maintaining quality, safety, and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and supervise day-to-day production activities on the shop floor.
Plan and coordinate production activities to meet delivery schedules.
Manage and allocate manpower efficiently for production operations.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication documents.
Follow up on production instructions and ensure timely execution.
Monitor fabrication processes and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and stores departments for uninterrupted production.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
Prepare daily production reports and update management on progress.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.

Pressure Vessels
Heat Exchangers
Storage Tanks
Static Equipment
Water Treatment Plant Equipment
Required Qualifications
Diploma (Mechanical Engineering) or B.E. Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in heavy fabrication/manufacturing is preferred.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of heavy fabrication processes.
Ability to read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings.
Experience in production monitoring and shop floor supervision.
Manpower handling and team coordination.
Production planning and execution.
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of quality and safety practices in manufacturing.
Effective communication and reporting skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in pressure vessel or process equipment manufacturing.
Strong leadership and coordination skills.
