Job Summary

A CAD Engineer / Design Engineer is responsible for creating and developing product designs using 2D and 3D CAD software. The role involves preparing engineering drawings, supporting product development, maintaining technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Develop 3D product models using Pro-E / Creo.
Prepare and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams during product development.
Ensure designs comply with technical specifications and industry standards.
Prepare and maintain:
Engineering drawings
Bills of Materials (BOM)
Technical documentation
Design reports
Support effective communication within the engineering department.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for design and engineering processes.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Equivalent discipline
Required Skills
Proficiency in Pro-E / Creo for 3D modeling.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D drafting.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.
Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal English).
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Skills
Experience in the switches, switchgear, or electrical panel manufacturing industry.
Ability to work under deadlines while maintaining design quality.
