Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Executive to oversee branch audits, freight bill verification, and operational compliance within the transportation and logistics industry. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Lorry Hire and Freight Audit, with the ability to identify discrepancies, improve operational controls, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities
Internal Audit
Conduct internal audits across branch locations.
Evaluate compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Identify operational risks and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
Audit Reporting
Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting:
Audit findings
Compliance issues
Risk observations
Recommendations
Corrective action plans
Present audit reports to management.
Freight Audit
Review freight bills received from customers.
Verify freight charges and billing accuracy.
Identify billing discrepancies and overcharges.
Ensure proper documentation of freight transactions.
Lorry Hire Audit
Audit lorry hire expenses and supporting documents.
Verify transportation costs and operational records.
Ensure compliance with company policies related to fleet operations.
Issue Resolution
Coordinate with branch teams to resolve operational and financial discrepancies.
Negotiate settlements related to freight billing issues.
Support branches in improving operational efficiency.
Compliance & Process Improvement
Monitor adherence to transportation industry regulations.
Recommend improvements in internal controls and audit processes.
Assist management in strengthening operational governance.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline (preferred).
Experience Required
5–10 years of experience in:
