We are looking for an Audit Officer to strengthen our compliance, inventory control, and financial accountability across our retail network.

Job Summary

The Audit Officer will be responsible for conducting stock audits, verifying financial transactions, monitoring inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with company policies across multiple retail outlets. The role requires frequent travel within Tamil Nadu and involves identifying discrepancies, preparing audit reports, and supporting process improvements to minimize losses and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Stock Audit
Conduct regular stock audits across retail outlets.
Verify inventory records and physical stock.
Identify shortages, excess stock, and inventory discrepancies.
Recommend corrective actions to improve stock accuracy.
Ensure proper stock maintenance and inventory reporting.
Financial Audit
Audit cash collections, payment records, and sales transactions.
Verify financial records for accuracy and completeness.
Monitor compliance with company financial controls.
Identify discrepancies in cash handling and payment processes.
Compliance & Operations
Ensure adherence to company policies and operational procedures.
Monitor internal controls across retail outlets.
Support implementation of best practices in inventory and financial management.
Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping.
Investigation & Resolution
Investigate stock and payment discrepancies.
Resolve operational and financial disputes fairly and promptly.
Recommend preventive measures to reduce future discrepancies.
Reporting
Prepare detailed audit reports.
Present audit findings and recommendations to management.
Track corrective actions and follow up on audit observations.
Training & Support
Train shop staff on stock management and record-keeping practices.
Guide employees on compliance and operational procedures.
Support management in improving internal processes and controls.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in:
Commerce
Business Administration
Accounting
Finance
Related discipline (Preferred)
Experience
Freshers are welcome to apply.
