Job Summary
A leading manufacturer of Electrical Products is looking for an experienced Engineer / Senior Engineer – Tendering & Estimation to join its Salem Plant / Head Office. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in tender preparation, cost estimation, and electrical design with hands-on experience in the Transformer and Switchgear Industry.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Tendering & Estimation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare technical and commercial tenders in accordance with customer specifications.
Analyze tender documents, drawings, and technical requirements.
Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for electrical products and projects.
Coordinate with engineering, sales, procurement, and production teams during the tendering process.
Evaluate project scope, technical specifications, and commercial requirements.
Support bid submissions within specified timelines.
Maintain tender documentation and estimation records.
Provide technical clarifications to customers during the bidding process.
Required Skills
Strong experience in Tendering & Estimation.
Good knowledge of Electrical Design principles.
Hands-on experience in the Transformer and Switchgear Industry.
Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard estimation/documentation tools.
Preferred Candidate Profile
B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or EEE.
Experience in electrical product manufacturing will be an added advantage.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
