Role Overview
Axon Control Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Control Engineer to lead and execute industrial automation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PLC programming, SCADA/HMI development, electrical design, system integration, and industrial communication protocols. This role involves working on Special Purpose Machines (SPM) and industrial automation solutions while supporting projects across India and overseas.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and program PLC applications across multiple automation platforms.
Design and develop SCADA and HMI applications for industrial automation systems.
Prepare electrical schematics and control panel designs using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
Configure and integrate sensors, actuators, drives, and field instruments.
Implement industrial communication protocols including:
Modbus
Profinet
Ethernet/IP
OPC UA
Perform system integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Work on SPM (Special Purpose Machine) and industrial automation projects.
Support installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance testing.
Collaborate with customers and cross-functional engineering teams.
Travel to customer locations within India and abroad for project execution.
Required Qualifications
