Job Summary

The CAD Engineer / Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing electrical products using 2D and 3D CAD software. The role involves preparing engineering drawings, developing product models, maintaining engineering documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet technical specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
Product Design
Develop 3D product models using Pro-E / Creo.
Create and modify 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
Design products according to engineering standards and customer requirements.
Review and update existing product designs when required.
Engineering Documentation
Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Maintain engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Generate design reports and supporting documents.
Ensure document accuracy and revision control.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Coordinate with production, quality, and project teams.
Support product development and manufacturing activities.
Participate in design reviews and engineering discussions.
Maintain effective communication within the engineering department.
Continuous Improvement
Suggest improvements in design methodologies.
Support process optimization initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards.
Educational Qualification
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Equivalent Engineering Discipline
