Job Summary
The Lead FPGA Design Engineer will lead the architecture, design, implementation, verification, and validation of FPGA-based systems for complex hardware products. The role includes mentoring engineers, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering high-performance, reliable FPGA solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead FPGA architecture definition and design.
Convert system-level requirements into FPGA design specifications.
Design and implement FPGA solutions using:
Xilinx
Intel (Altera)
Lattice FPGA devices
Develop verification environments and testbenches.
Perform simulation and functional verification.
Integrate FPGA designs with hardware and embedded software.
Lead timing closure, floorplanning, and resource optimization.
Conduct design reviews and maintain technical documentation.
Mentor junior FPGA engineers and promote engineering best practices.
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software development teams.
