Position: Power System Engineer

Job Summary

The Power System Engineer will be responsible for performing advanced power system studies, modelling, simulation, and analysis to deliver reliable and efficient engineering solutions. The role involves working with industry-standard software and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on power system projects.

Experience Required
5–12 years in Power Systems Engineering
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute power system studies.
Perform:
Load Flow Analysis
Short Circuit Analysis
Power System Stability Studies (PSS)
Develop power system models and conduct simulations.
Analyze system performance and recommend engineering solutions.
Ensure accurate modelling of complex electrical networks.
Provide technical guidance on:
Power system design
System operation
Maintenance strategies
Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams during project execution.
Required Skills
Strong expertise in Power System Studies.
Experience with:
PSCAD (Power System Computer Aided Design)
DIgSILENT PowerFactory
MIPower
Experience using CYME modelling tools.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong technical communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Technical Knowledge
Electrical power system modelling
Grid studies
Network stability analysis
Transmission and distribution systems
Simulation and engineering analysis
