Job Summary

The Production Manager will be responsible for managing the complete production operations of Flour and Pulses manufacturing. The role includes production planning, plant operations, quality control, machinery management, manpower supervision, process improvement, inventory monitoring, and ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards while achieving production targets.

Key Responsibilities
Production Management
Take full responsibility for Flour and Pulses production.
Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities.
Ensure production targets are achieved on time.
Maintain high product quality standards.
Plant Operations
Manage overall plant operations efficiently.
Ensure smooth functioning of manufacturing processes.
Monitor production performance and operational efficiency.
Production Planning
Prepare daily production schedules.
Coordinate production activities to meet customer demand.
Optimize resource utilization and production capacity.
Machinery & Equipment
Supervise operation and maintenance of production machinery.
Coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
Ensure machines operate efficiently with minimal downtime.
Quality Control
Ensure compliance with quality standards.
Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Coordinate with quality teams to resolve production issues.
Safety & Hygiene
Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
Maintain hygiene standards throughout the factory.
Promote a safe working environment.
Team Leadership
Lead and supervise production staff.
Train and develop production employees.
Improve workforce productivity and performance.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency.
Reduce production waste.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Inventory & Documentation
Maintain records of:
Production output
Raw material consumption
Inventory levels
Coordinate material availability with relevant departments.
Cross-functional Coordination
Coordinate with procurement, stores, logistics, and quality teams.
Ensure timely dispatch of finished products.
Required Qualifications
Education
Graduate or relevant qualification in Manufacturing, Food Processing, Engineering, or related discipline (preferred).
Experience
Minimum 2 years of production experience.
Experience in flour, pulses, food processing, or manufacturing industry is preferred.
