Location: Anna Nagar, Santhome, Pallikaranai (Chennai) & Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Job Summary

We are looking for a Civil Field Supervisor to manage Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) civil field operations. The candidate will supervise OFC laying, routing, restoration activities, and coordinate with field teams, local authorities, and infrastructure partners to ensure smooth project execution while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise OFC laying, routing, restoration, and troubleshooting activities.
Monitor daily field operations and ensure timely project execution.
Manage construction materials, vehicle MIS, and attendance records.
Ensure compliance with Airtel safety policies and field procedures.
Coordinate site restoration activities after cable laying.
Handle drop cable installation and OTB (Optical Termination Box) replacement.
Coordinate with local authorities for permissions and network protection.
Work closely with infrastructure partners to prevent cable damage.
Ensure availability of vehicle and labor support for uninterrupted operations.
Maintain daily progress reports and field documentation.
Ensure quality standards and operational timelines are achieved.
Required Qualifications
ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Civil Engineering, or any related discipline.
Minimum 6 months of experience in OFC field operations.
Experience in OFC laying, routing, and civil supervision is preferred.
Ability to coordinate multiple field activities simultaneously.
Good communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Strong problem-solving and team management skills.
Requirements
Willingness to work in field operations.
Ability to manage labor teams effectively.
Arrange and supervise a team of 4 civil laborers.
Ready to provide 12×7 operational support when required.
Immediate joiners preferred.
Salary
₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month
