Job Summary

Medical Coding is the process of converting patient health records into standardized alphanumeric medical codes. Medical Coders review physicians’ documentation—including diagnoses, treatments, prescriptions, and procedures—and accurately assign codes using standard coding systems. These codes are essential for medical billing, insurance claims, and healthcare documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Review patient medical records and physician documentation.
Convert diagnoses, treatments, and procedures into standardized medical codes.
Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines.
Maintain confidentiality of patient health information.
Prepare accurate coding information for insurance claims processing.
Meet productivity and quality standards.
Coordinate with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation when required.
Stay updated with current medical coding standards and regulations.

Salary
₹12,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Salary depends on experience.
Salary increment after six months for experienced candidates.
