Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Lab Assistant to join a reputed ICSE/IGCSE school in Bannerghatta, Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will support science laboratory activities, assist teachers and students during practical sessions, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Preparation & Support
Prepare laboratory setups for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology practical sessions.
Arrange and maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and materials required for experiments.
Assist teachers and students during practical classes and demonstrations.
Inventory & Equipment Management
Maintain accurate records of laboratory inventory.
Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals, specimens, and laboratory equipment.
Monitor stock levels and report requirements for replenishment.
Safety & Compliance
Implement and enforce laboratory safety procedures and protocols.
Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and laboratory waste.
Conduct regular checks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
Maintenance & Housekeeping
Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory facilities.
Ensure all laboratory equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
Report damaged equipment or safety concerns to the school administration.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or B.Sc. in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or related field).
1–2 years of experience as a Lab Assistant in a school environment.
Experience in ICSE/IGCSE schools is preferred.
Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
Good understanding of laboratory safety standards and procedures.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
