Job Overview
We are hiring a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager for a leading brand in the electrical and switchgear industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key customer relationships, and expanding market presence across Tamil Nadu.
This role requires strong B2B sales expertise, territory management skills, and extensive experience in the electrical products industry.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
Identify and acquire new customers across Tamil Nadu.
Generate business opportunities within industrial, commercial, infrastructure, and construction segments.
Drive sales growth through effective market penetration and customer engagement.
Territory Management
Manage sales operations across Tamil Nadu.
Monitor regional sales performance and implement corrective actions when required.
Identify emerging market opportunities and competitive threats.
Key Account Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, OEMs, distributors, dealers, and end customers.
Develop long-term partnerships with key stakeholders.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Channel Development
Strengthen existing channel partner networks.
Identify and onboard new distributors and dealers.
Support channel partners through product training and business development initiatives.
Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments.
Gather customer feedback and provide insights to management.
Recommend strategic actions to improve market positioning.
Reporting & Forecasting
Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and performance reports.
Track sales targets and business KPIs.
Present periodic business reviews to senior management.
Required Qualifications
Education
Graduate (Mandatory)
MBA or BE/B.Tech preferred
Experience
Minimum 7+ years of sales experience.
Proven experience in B2B sales within the electrical products industry.
Experience handling sales operations across Tamil Nadu.
