A company in Coimbatore is seeking a highly experienced Structural Draftsman with 25 years of experience in structural drafting and detailing. The role involves preparing accurate structural drawings for RCC and steel structures, coordinating with structural engineers, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities
Structural Drafting
Prepare detailed structural drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop structural plans based on engineering calculations and design inputs.
Create and revise drawings for:
Beams
Columns
Foundations
Reinforcement Detailing
Structural Steel Components
Coordination & Review
Work closely with structural engineers and project teams.
Ensure drawing accuracy and timely submission.
Incorporate design changes and project revisions.
Compliance & Quality
Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
Maintain consistency and quality across all drafting deliverables.
Verify dimensions, details, and specifications before release.
Documentation
Maintain drawing registers and revision records.
Manage project documentation and technical references.
Support resolution of drafting and detailing issues during project execution.
Required Qualifications
Education
Diploma in Civil Engineering
Degree in Civil Engineering
Related Engineering Qualification
Experience
Minimum 25 Years of Structural Drafting Experience
