Job Summary

Lotus Health is seeking an experienced and dedicated Pharmacist to join its healthcare team in Pollachi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring medication safety, managing pharmacy inventory, counseling patients, and supporting healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Medication Dispensing
Review and dispense prescribed medications accurately.
Verify prescriptions for dosage accuracy, drug interactions, and contraindications.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
Patient Counseling
Educate patients regarding medication usage, dosage schedules, precautions, and possible side effects.
Address medication-related questions and concerns professionally.
Promote safe and effective use of medicines.
Inventory Management
Maintain adequate stock levels of medicines and pharmaceutical supplies.
Monitor inventory movement and conduct regular stock checks.
Track medicine expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Follow medication safety and quality assurance procedures.
Clinical Support
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related matters.
Assist in maintaining high standards of patient care and pharmaceutical services.
