About the Role

Sree Saran Medical Centre, a NABH-accredited hospital, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical knowledge, hands-on neonatal nursing skills, and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality patient care while adhering to NABH standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
Neonatal Patient Care
Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill, premature, and high-risk newborns.
Monitor and assess neonatal patients’ vital signs, oxygen saturation, and overall condition.
Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and prescribed treatments accurately.
Assist in life-support procedures and emergency interventions when required.
Clinical Support
Assist neonatologists and pediatricians during rounds, examinations, and medical procedures.
Support healthcare teams during emergencies and critical care situations.
Ensure timely reporting of any changes in patient condition to the medical team.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and nursing documentation.
Ensure compliance with NABH standards, hospital policies, and nursing protocols.
Follow strict infection-control practices and patient safety guidelines.
Family Education & Support
Educate parents and caregivers regarding neonatal care, feeding techniques, and post-discharge care.
Provide emotional support and counseling to families during treatment and recovery.
Qualifications
GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)
B.Sc. Nursing
Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
Registration Requirement
Valid Nursing Council Registration
Tamil Nadu Nursing Council Registration Preferred
Experience
Minimum 1–3 Years of NICU Experience in a reputed hospital.
Freshers with NICU training are also encouraged to apply.
